Patrick’s academic background is in Mathematics and Computer Science with a focus on Cryptography and, in particular, Zero Knowledge Proofs. He began his career at IBM before moving into the Web3 space. Before joining Protocol Labs, he worked on immutably linking real world assets like garments and bottles of wine to blockchain records using IoT technologies. At Protocol Labs, Patrick is currently working on the research and development of the Filecoin Retrieval Market.
