Introducing PL_Genesis: Frontiers of Collaboration, the next phase of Protocol Labs' flagship hackathon and a call to teams working on the building blocks of frontier technology: Web3, Crypto, AI, Robotics, and Neurotechnology.
Last season, PL_Genesis: Modular Worlds challenged builders to assemble a new internet from composable, user-owned primitives. The goal was clear: move beyond monolithic platforms and toward interoperable systems where storage, compute, identity, and incentives are modular by design.

Prize Structure
- Fresh Code → $50,000 prize pool for new projects started within the hacking period (10 teams × $5,000)
- Existing Code → $50,000 prize pool for continued development and meaningful integration (10 teams × $5,000)
- Sponsor Bounties → $50,000+ in targeted awards tied to sponsor challenges
Every project must clearly integrate at least one sponsor bounty.
High-potential teams will be considered for Founders Forge regardless of final prize placement.
